Corned Beef (Dutch Oven)
Simple corned beef recipe. To be honest when we’ve made it, we just put the brisket right in the beer without any type of rack to hold it above the beer. Also, since the brisket was seasoned already, we skipped the brown sugar step as well. It came out amazing, super simple, but would like to try it with the brown sugar one of these times.

Ingredients
4 pounds corned beef brisket
1 (12 oz) can or bottle of Irish Stout beer
1 c. brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Rinse the beef completely and pat dry.
Place the brisket on rack in a roasting pan or Dutch oven. Rub the brown sugar on the corned beef to coat entire beef, including the bottom. Pour the bottle of stout beer around, and gently over the beef to wet the sugar.
Cover, and place in preheated oven. Bake for 2 1/2 hours. Allow to rest 5 minutes before slicing.
