Pepper Steak and Rice
This is the Klicpera family famous Pepper Steak and Rice recipe.

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb pepper steak
3 green peppers, cut into strips
1 large yellow onion, cut into strips
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp sugar
soy souce (to color???????)
3 c. & 1/2 c. hot water
Directions
First make a sauce by mixing 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tbsp garlic salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 3 cups of water, and soy sauce (to color, please update this). Place to side for now.
Brown pepper steak in electric skillet.
Temporarily remove the pepper steak from the electric skillet.
Place peppers & onions into skillet with 1/2 cup of water, cover and steam until soft.
When the veggies are soft, mix in the pepper steak and poor sauce over the steak and veggies; replace lid.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until thick (few minutes).
Serve over rice.
